Description: Auburn University Better Process Control School (BPCS) offers instruction which fulfills the FDA and USDA Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements to certify supervisors thermal processing systems, acidification and container closure evaluation programs for acidified canned foods. The school will be held October 4 - 5, 2017 in Room 109 at the CASIC building, located at 559 Devall Drive, Auburn, Alabama. Registration is $350 and includes instruction material, supplies, lunch, and certificates earned.

Description: Informational Meeting: October 5 @ 5:30 EST Class every Friday 6:30-7:30 EST (Oct 20-Dec 1) *Six week dog training program for kids 12-18 yr. old (9-11 allowed with parental involvement) with trainers from Harvard K-9. *Cost of the course is $35 per person (NO cost for informational meeting). Cost will cover training classes, project manual, dog show, t-shirt, and prizes. *This class is only open for 15 total spots, and youth & parent are required to attend meeting on October 5th at the Russell County Extension Office to qualify for a spot (no dogs at first meeting). *Spots will be determined based on first 15 to return all paperwork and course fees to the Russell County Extension Office. ***Must pre register for the October 5th Meeting by calling 334-298-6845***

Description: QuickBooks for Farmers is a two evening class to teach farmers on using the basic features of QuickBooks Pro accounting software. The first evening will cover building a sample farm file and entering sample data. The second evening will review a completed sample farm's year-end and management reports. This allows students to see a full year of QuickBooks data.
