Description: Two-day classroom and hands-on workshop focused on safe chainsaw use for tree care workers, landscape professionals, and municipal/county employees. Public is welcome, but will have to provide their own personal protective equipment (chainsaw chaps, hearing protection, hard hat, and eye protection). First day will cover best practices and chainsaw knowledge and maintenance. Second day will be in-field working on limbing and bucking best practices. 6.5 ISA Certified Arborist CEUs

Description: Practical and hands-on training in chainsaw use, maintenance, felling and limbing/bucking techniques. An excellent introduction safe use and tree work. November 2nd, indoor, saw handling and maintenance. November 3rd, outdoor, safe work practices using chainsaws. Attendees will work with chainsaws under instruction to practice and demonstrate the techniques being taught. 6 PLM points per day. 6.5 ISA CEU's per day.
