Description: Join the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Discovery Recycling, The ARK Dothan, Assured Data Destruction, and WTVY TV 4 for a FREE "Community Recycling Day" at the Dale County Extension Office Parking lot from 8:00-11:00 a.m., residents can drop-off outdated, unused electronics (excluding glass-screen TVs and computer monitors), paper records and data storage materials to be shredded and recycled. There will be a $10.00 fee for CRT's. So, clean up around your home this Spring and bring your items to the Farm Center.

Description: The annual extraction of honey from the hives at Landmark Park. The public is invited for this hands-on activity to learn about the process of extraction, honey bee biology and beekeeping. Honey will be bottled for sale at the time of extraction and the proceeds benefit the beekeeping program at Landmark Park.
