Junior Master Gardener Groups

Each year about 25 teachers from the Bankhead Region attend In-Service Training and registered their classroom as an official Junior Master Gardener Club. The JMG curriculum provides hands-on approach to learning horticulture, environmental science, leadership, and life skills.

4-H youth plant tomatoes

Tri-County Junior Master Gardener Club is the recipient of a $250 program grant from Bonnie Plant Farm. Members have planted a tomatoe plot and plan to sell their produce at Farmer's Markets throughout the summer. 4-H'ers are learning by doing.

Other program grant recipients include Winfield Middle School, Winfield Stepping Stones program, Brilliant Elementary, and Fayette Elementary.
