All Alabamians have a vested interest in sustaining the quality and future benefits of our environment. Many of our natural resources and the multiple benefits that flow from them are renewable but only under wise management from year to year and from generation to generation. Outstanding progress continues to be made in conserving, managing, and developing Alabama's natural resources.
The W. Kelly Mosley Environmental Awards program seeks to publicly recognize achievements that have resulted in the wiser use of our renewable natural resources. The program is administered by Auburn University and was made possible by a gift from an Auburn alumnus, the late Dr. W. Kelly Mosley of Atlanta, Georgia, and from the John and Mary Franklin Foundation.
