Farmers Markets in Alabama

The Alabama Department of Agriculture estimates that farmers markets generate $67 million in economic impact for our state. About 160 registered farmers markets are in Alabama along with many more roadside stands. The markets not only provide fresh fruits and vegetables, but also serve as community gathering places.
