How much do you know about Cullman County agriculture?

Participants of the recent Farm-City tour were given a quiz to test their knowledge of the subject.   For example, do you know what is the largest agricultural commodity produced by Cullman County and what percentage it contributes to Cullman County’s total agricultural and forestry production?   Many of you  would probably correctly guess the poultry & egg industry is the largest, but might be surprised to learn that it accounts for 85.5% of Cullman County’s total agricultural and forestry production.

Hope you enjoy our Fall Newsletter and maybe learn something else new!
