This “Discussion Board” is provided to facilitate and promote EE-related dialogue conducive to professional development, information sharing, networking, discovery, assistance, and collaboration. Registrants are included as email recipients of periodic EEAA notifications and time-sensitive membership information. Through the various categories and topics maintained within this online exchange, EEAA strives to facilitate and encourage relevant and diverse discussion in order to stimulate growth, promote interactivity, and foster meaningful discourse among its membership and others. This Community Forum replaces the Yahoo Groups "Listserv" as of March 1, 2004. There are 2 areas within this Discussion Board, one section that will provide general discussion or notifications of general interest (state-wide environmental news, field trip opportunities, upcoming programs at environmental centers throughout Alabama, etc.) and another, restricted-access section, exclusive to EEAA Members, which could include news about MEMBERS-ONLY trips and excursions, workshops, invitations to regional members’ gatherings and meetings, and other EEAA Members programs and/or services. This MEMBERS-ONLY section is only accessible to dues-paying EEAA members using an authorized access code which will be provided when an active member requests access to the MEMBERS-ONLY Section after they register (create a User Account) online. You are invited to help EEAA actualize its goal to disseminate EE-related information and encourage public and professional participation and awareness toward environmental affairs in Alabama by, first, registering as a member of the "EEAA Community" and, second, by contributing to the "flow" of information, conversation, and pertinent discourse. Active EEAA Members may request access to the MEMBERS-ONLY Section by clicking here. Please encourage your colleagues, associates, and interested friends to participate as well (email this page now)! This “Discussion Board,” in addition to facilitating interaction/participation by anyone without registering, provides a unique and secure venue that allows registrants to exchange ideas, consult, communicate electronically with one another, and generally associate… perhaps even bond! Please note that, in order to protect your privacy and prevent spamming (marketing/junk email), the moderators of the Forum will monitor each “board” to ensure that only those with compatible interests and intentions are permitted to regularly participate — and to protect our members’ privacy and trust. If you find anything offensive or “off-topic” posted to any board, please use the “Report to moderator” link provided at the bottom of each message pane in order to bring it to the attention of the board’s moderator. Have fun using the EEAA Community Forum!
