William Deutsch, Ph.D.

Bill has been on the faculty of the AU Department of Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures since 1988. He is the co-founder of AWW and has begun a new program called, Global Water Watch. Global Water Watch is an affiliation of community-based water monitoring projects in the Philippines, Ecuador, Brazil, and Thailand. These are hosted by the AU International Center for Aquaculture and Aquatic Environments. |

Eric Reutebuch, M.S.
Publications Coordinator

Eric has an M.S. in Fisheries from Auburn University. His work with AWW primarily involves creating publications that feature specific AWW groups, their local issues, their water monitoring data and how they are using the data to better manage their watersheds. In addition to publishing responsibilities, he enjoys traveling around the state and participating in data interpretation sessions with local citizen monitoring groups. |
Sergio S. RuizCórdova, M.S.
Data Coordinator

Sergio has a M.S. in Aquatic Ecology from the Department of Fisheries and Allied Aquacultures, Auburn University. His work with AWW primarily involves maintaining the statewide database and creating data reports. In addition to responsibilities with AWW, he coordinates the development and maintenance of a database for the Global Water Watch projects in Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Philippines and other countries through the International Center for Aquaculture and Aquatic Environments. |

Jayme Oates, M.S.
Education Coordinator

Jayme has a M.S. degree in Horticulture from Auburn University. Her work with AWW primarily involves coordinating and managing Environmental Education Projects, and conducting Exploring Alabama’s Living Streams aquatic science curriculum workshops for Environmental Educators. She also coordinates information gathering and meetings while pursuing grants to support AWW Research and Community-based projects. |
Rita Grub, B.S.
Volunteer Monitor Coordinator
(April 2008 - present)
Rita has an degree in Business Administration from Auburn University. Her work with AWW primarily involves working with AWW monitors and trainers coordinating workshops and certifications. Rita also serves as office manager for AWW keeping up with monitoring supplies orders and inventory, communications and other office duties. She has been an active AWW monitor since 2001 with the organization Save our Saugahatchee. She enjoys traveling around the state and participating in group meetings with local citizen monitoring groups and learning about watershed issues. |
