Fun And Fitness On Vacation
Planning some "R&R" on your next vacation. Why not add
another R? Revitalize with some fitness activities.
There are lots of ways to energize your vacations. For
starters:
- Pack your walking shoes. One of the great things about
sightseeing, shopping and visiting museums and historical sites
is all the walking you do in the process. Make sure you bring
comfortable walking shoes.
- Try two wheels. Bring your bicycle or rent one along the
way. Don't forget your helmet and water bottle.
- Choose accommodations with a gym. You can work out at
your own convenience at a hotel with an exercise facility.
If you're planning more strenuous activities that require
you to be in shape, start working out weeks before your vacation.
You'll enjoy your vacation more and avoid sports-related
injuries.
