Check Pressure Canners With Dial Gauges Yearly

As you prepare to can foods this fall, remember that if you have a canner with a dial pressure gauge, the gauge needs to be checked.

Dial gauges should be checked for accuracy before each year's use and replaced if necessary.  Gauges can be checked at all county Extension offices.
