A Year of Color It is not difficult to have year-round color in your yard, especially with our long growing season. It only takes a little planning and a little knowledge. This table provides a small picture of some possibilities to point you in the right direction for planning your own color palette. It is not meant to be a comprehensive guide, but it does offer some options. The plants listed with an asterisk (*) show those plants that are often chosen for their excellent fragrance and attractive blooms. Many of the plants listed have desirable cultivars or hybrids available, and your county Extension agent is an excellent source for more information about plants best suited for your area. Keep in mind that this is a partial list only. You must research your options. Note: See Year of Color Table.
