Extension Communications Wins ACE Awards

Auburn, Sept. 6, 2002---Extension Communications recently won awards from Agricultural Communicators in Education (ACE), an international association of communicators and information technologists in education, government and research.

Extension Communications Specialist Bruce Dupree won a Bronze Award in Illustration: Single or Series for the Breathe Easy Asthma Brochure and Exhibit.

A team effort led to a Silver Award for Extension's 4-H Center Web site. Team members were Ross Heck, part-time Extension art designer, Bruce Dupree, Extension Communications specialist, Audrey Stovall, Extension editor, Carol Whatley, Extension Communications co-leader, and Paulette Didier, Extension information technology specialist.

The awards were presented during the annual ACE Conference in Savannah, Ga. ACE

develops professional skills of its members to extend knowledge about agriculture, natural resources and human sciences to people worldwide.
