EXTENSION SYSTEM RETIREES TO BE HONORED

AUBURN, MARCH 5---Thirty-four employees of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System with almost 1000 years of experience will retire March 31. In addition to county agents from across the state, several Extension specialists who worked in university departments will end their Extension careers this month.

A reception honoring the retirees is set for 3 - 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 31 in Ballroom B of the Auburn University Hotel and Conference Center. Auburn University President Dr. William Muse and Dr. Stephen Jones, director of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, will present service awards at 3:30 p.m. All family, friends, former employees and co-workers are invited.
