Urban-Rural Interface Conference

System’s Urban Affairs and New Nontraditional Programs unit will
sponsor its Urban-Rural Interface Conference Thurs., April 18. The
annual conference will be held at the Dawson Building on the Alabama
A&M University campus from 8:30 am to 3 pm. This year’s theme
is "Educating Communities to Respond to Urban-Rural Interface

Brentwood, Tenn., is recalling more than 89,000 rear-engine riding
lawn mowers and about 6,200 mid-engine riding mowers. The fuel tank
can crack and leak fuel, posing a burn or fire hazard to

theme is "Start Today for a Healthy Tomorrow."
The month is set aside
annually by the American Dietetic Association to encourage all
Americans to take the first step toward making healthful food and
physical activity choices, says Dr. Evelyn Crayton, a registered
dietitian and a foods and nutrition specialist with the Alabama
