4-H’ers Gearing Up For District
Roundups
AUBURN,
June 2, 2003---4-H’ers across Alabama are gearing up for six
district roundup competitions scheduled for June at various locations

“These district
roundups provide 4-H’ers opportunities to exhibit their skills in a
variety of competitive events and to share their leadership abilities
through project activities,” said Dr. Paul Waddy, district Extension
coordinator for the East Alabama Regional Office.
“Two new 4-H council
members from each district are also elected during the roundups. These
council members work with state 4-H leaders to identify program
emphasis for the coming year,” Waddy said.
