52nd Annual Auburn Bull Test Sale will be held Saturday,
Jan. 19, at the Ham Wilson Livestock Arena on the Auburn University

limited edition print signed by Garfield creator Jim Davis was up
for auction on eBay, the Internet's leading auction site. After more

Leaders Program Accepting Applications for Class VIII

Agriculture and Forestry Leadership Development Program, known as
LEADERS, currently is accepting applications for Class VIII which
will begin this July. LEADERS is a joint project of the Alabama
Cooperative Extension System, the Auburn University College of
Agriculture, and the AU School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences and
is supported by a large and diverse group of agribusinesses and

Calcium
Crisis Affects American Youth
Auburn,
Jan.9--- America's youth are in the midst of a calcium crisis,
according to statistics from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Only 13.5 percent of girls and 36.3 percent of boys age 12 to19 in
the United States get the recommended daily amount (RDA) of calcium.
Because nearly 90 percent of adult bone mass is established by the
end of this age range, America's youth are at serious risk for
osteoporosis and other bone diseases. (More...)
