Extension System Works to Inform Alabamians about Upcoming Tax Reform and Accountability Plan

Auburn, Aug. 15, 2003 --- Alabamians will go to the polls on Sept. 9 to vote on a historic tax reform and accountability plan.  The outcome of that vote will have long-term consequences for all Alabamians.  In order to educate voters about the plan, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System is producing a series of informational satellite videoconferences titled “Proposed Tax Changes for Alabama—The Facts” that will be aired on August 26 and 28.  The purpose of these videoconferences is to educate voters about this plan.  (More...)
