Auburn, August 28,
2002 --- Auburn University’s Horticulture Department will host
a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony of its new and renovated
Paterson Greenhouse Complex on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. The
public is invited to attend.
The ribbon cutting is
part of a three-day educational workshop sponsored by the
horticulture department, the Alabama Cooperative Extension System
and
the Alabama Nurserymen’s
Association.
Educational programs
focusing on nurseries, landscaping and greenhouses will be held
on Wednesday, Sept. 4
and Thursday, Sept. 5 at the Auburn University Hotel and Dixon
Conference Center. Several recreational activities including a golf
tournament and sporting clays shoots will also be held as part of
the event.
