The Alabama Cooperative
Extension System’s Urban Affairs and New Nontraditional Programs (UANNP)
housed at Alabama A&M University, will publish a quarterly
newsletter for Extension’s urban and nontraditional audiences.
Metro News… Making
Extension Connections will
capture the pulse of UANNP’s programs, services and activities as
well as current news from each of its nine urban centers across the
state of Alabama. In addition, the newsletter will provide
informative, research-based articles and news of national and
international interest.
Metro News,
primarily an electronic-based newsletter, will be launched Oct. 1
and will contain text in both English and Spanish for Alabama’s
rapidly growing Hispanic population.
