Blazing Galactic Trails!
4-H and Space Day have partnered to celebrate humankind's space achievements and to help "mobilize enthusiasm about the wonders of the universe; advance science, math and technology education; and spotlight the extraordinary potential in space exploration." You can help make Space Day 2004 another truly memorable experience for young people in your communities by:

* Promoting Space Day 2004 to young people, volunteers and others in the community.
* Creating local Space Day events in your community.
* Planning joint Space Day educational activities with local and state partners.
* Helping to coordinate Space Day speakers for local and state events.
* Promoting Space Day Design Challenge teams in your area.
* Promoting and participating in the Cyber Space Day Webcast on May 6, 2004!
* Obtaining local and state proclamations about Space Day.
You may also contact the National 4-H Aerospace Education Liaison for assistance. You will find a means of reporting your activities via the Space Day site. If you would like to have your local and state activities listed for others in 4-H to see please send a report with photographs to 4-H/Space Day Stories. We look forward to hearing about your successes.
