The Pathfinder program is a weekend of non-stop activities exploring the history, present, and future of manned space flight. Participants are immersed in hands-on training for a space shuttle mission, experiencing both shuttle and space station simulators*. Presentations are packed with interesting facts and trivia that students remember long after the weekend is over. Pathfinder also includes a giant-screen IMAX® experience where students experience the sensations of a real Shuttle launch.

The seasonal cost schedule is:

$189/Person for Sept to February $229/person for March to August.

Suggested for Grades 4th - 8th but older youth are accepted in 4-H groups. Minimum Group Size is 12. One adult chaperon fee waiver is offered for each 12 paid participants.

*A minimum height of four feet is required for the simulators used in the program curriculum, with the exception of G-Force Accelerator, which requires a minimum height of 50 inches. Maximum weight for simulators is 260 lb. Some space flight simulators used in the programs may cause motion sickness.
