2009-2010 Alabama 4-H State Council Announced
The 2009-2010 Alabama 4-H State Council was inducted in a special ceremony Feb. 15 during the 4-H Midwinter Teen Leadership Retreat at the Alabama 4-H Youth Development Center in Columbiana.
Twenty teen 4-H’ers from across Alabama pledged their heads, hearts, hands and health to the betterment of Alabama 4-H for the upcoming year.

The new council members include Aleem Ahmed, Lee County; Anna Grace Masterson, Lawrence County; Anna Montgomery, Marshall County; Ashley Nelson, Conecuh County; Chelsea Kelly, Pike County; Christopher Serrano, Calhoun County; Cody OLinger, Jackson County; Colton Jones, Shelby County; Darius Woods, Barbour County; Haley Hall, Marengo County; Hannah Richardson, Fayette County; Hillary Anderson, Houston County; Joel Burks, Cullman County; Kijuan Jones, Macon County; Logan Sullivan, Jefferson County; Mallory Searcy, Baldwin County; Marissa Miller, Elmore County; Neely Pearson, Pickens County; Samantha Brasher, Blount County and Zach Amason, Randolph County.
The Alabama 4-H State Council is a prestigious leadership body responsible for supporting the vision and mission of Alabama 4-H as well as supporting various local, county, regional and statewide programs and activities. Youth who serve on the 4-H State Council are also responsible for planning and implementing the 4-H Midwinter Teen Leadership Retreat and assisting with an innovative and high-profile State Council Community Service Project.
