Food Scientist Says Alabamians Should Take Pride in State
Like the late singer John Denver, Dr. Jean Weese has always been thankful for having grown up a country girl.
But following the recent salmonella outbreak in peanut butter, the transplanted Kentuckian is also thankful she lives in Alabama, where food safety regulations are especially strict.
