Alabama Horse Fair Coming Soon

The 2008 Alabama Horse Fair is coming to Montgomery’s Garrett Coliseum Jan. 26 and 27.

This year’s event includes competition for the Alabama Horse Idol. The winner will compete against eight other state winners during Saturday performances. Saturday also includes clinics and a silent auction.

The evening performance is a not-to-be missed event with glitz, glitter, horses and action, featuring Cavallo Equestrian Arts ----- fun for the whole family.
Sunday begins with Cowboy Church and highlights the Ultimate Trail Horse Competition with judges from RFD-TV’s top show, “Best of America by Horseback.” This event will be videotaped for airing on RFD-TV.

Fairgoers can shop at the largest equine trade show in Alabama for everything from horse trailers to grooming supplies.

The Alabama Horse Council is sponsoring the horse fair. Gates open at
8 a.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday.. Admission is $10 per day and $10 for the Saturday evening performance and parking is free. For more information, visit www.alabamahorsecouncil.org.
