LEADERS IX Class Seeking Applicants

Applications are being sought for Class IX of the Alabama Agriculture and Forestry Leadership Program called LEADERS.

The program is intended for up and coming producers and professionals in agricultural and forestry industries and for individuals working close with rural issues in Alabama. The goal of the 40-day program, which is taken over a two-year period, is to improve participants

The IX class is open to 30 participants. The class will consist of eight sessions held across the state, as well as an out-of-state and out-of-country study tour. A tuition fee applies. The class is slated to begin in February.

The program is administered by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System in cooperation with Auburn University
