Tips for Parents, Teachers and Caregivers
Jennifer Wells, a regional Extension agent with the Alabama Cooperative
Extension System, offers parents, teachers and caregivers tips on how to
help children cope with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. She notes
that children may revert to childish behaviors but that parents should
not be alarmed or overreact to these bahavior changes because they are
usually short in duration.
