Installation and Configuration
ScopiaDesktop is a client program that resides passively on your computer and allows you to connect to H.323 videoconferencing events. You must have a headset and microphone, or a headset, microphone, and webcam already installed and functioning on your PC before installing and participating with ScopiaDesktop. Go to the ScopiaDesktop homepage:

The first time you access the page, you will be asked to install the client.


After you select “Install Now”, you will be directed to the installation page. Choose “Install Now” again


You can then run or save the file. If you choose to save the file, you will have to run it after it downloads and saves to your computer. If you choose Run, you will have to wait for the file to download before it executes. The instructions below show the “Run” option.


After selecting run, you will have to confirm your choice.


The installer will run. This may take several minutes.

When complete, it should return you to the ScopiaDesktop page and show complete.


After the installation is complete, REBOOT or RESTART your computer.
After Restarting, continue to Configuring ScopiaDesktop.
