 How to Backup Your Netscape Bookmarks

If you want to backup your bookmarks from Netscape, you should copy the bookmark.htm file to a floppy disk or the Acenet folder.

To copy the file to a floppy disk:

1. Click on {START}, {FIND}, type {Bookmark.htm}, then click {SEARCH}.
2. In the result area, select the correct bookmark.htm file. You may have more than one bookmark file listed, determine which file you want to copy.
3. Insert a formatted floppy disk in the disk drive.
4. Right-click on the file, select {Send to Floppy}.

To copy the file to the Acenet folder:

1. Click on {START}, {FIND}, type {Bookmark.htm}, then click {SEARCH}.
2. In the result area, select the correct bookmark.htm file. You may have more than one bookmark file listed, determine which file you want to copy.
3. Right-click on the file, select {COPY}.
4. Minimize the Find dialog box.
5. Double-click on {MY COMPUTER}, double-click the {C: DRIVE}; double-click the {ACENET} folder.
6. Select {EDIT}, {PASTE}.
