Computer Authentication Policy - This policy states that all AU computers must require a username and password to logon to the system. Also, all computers must have a password-protected screen lock that engages after no more than 30 minutes of inactivity. The ACES/Ag IT Unit has implemented this policy for ACES/CoAg/AAES Windows computers. We encourage users to manually lock their screens (by pressing the Windows-key and L) whenever they leave their computer.
AU Network Terms and Conditions Acceptance Policy - This policy states that all AU computers will display a splash screen at bootup requiring the user to confirm that he/she is aware of and accepts AU operating policies. The ACES/Ag IT Unit has implemented this policy for ACES/CoAg/AAES Windows computers.
ERP Data Integrity and Access Policy - This policy pertains to the methods for accessing and updating data that is stored in campus-wide information systems.
ERP Sensitive Data Policy - This policy pertains to proper protection and storage of sensitive data. In particular, it states that sensitive data should be stored on professionally managed network servers and NOT on local desktop or laptop computers.
