Instructions for Turning on the REA Notebook for the First Time

After you have verified that you are located in a VPN/Active Directory office, connect the laptop into the office network and turn it on. Once the machine has completely booted-up, you will be presented with a screen that asks you to press CTRL-ALT-DEL to begin.
Press the CTRL, ALT and DEL keys at the same time. Then you will be presented with a “Log on to Windows” dialog box.  Enter your Global ID in the “User name” section, your password into the “Password” section and also verify that the “Log on to” section says AUBURN.
Click OK to log on.  The first time that you logon it will take a several minutes to complete the logon process.  After the logon process completes, wait approximately 20 minutes, restart the computer, and logon once again.  This will ensure that all the policies are downloaded from Auburn network..
