Our goal is to improve the public policy decision making process at state and local levels.

We accomplish our goal through programs that:

• Help the general public understand the public decision making process so they may effectively participate in it.
• Help state and local leaders analyze policy options and the consequences and possible outcome of each.
• Increase the consensus and understanding of individuals, groups and governmental officials with different perspectives and positions on policy issues of conflict and dispute resolution techniques.
• Teach community groups and organizations the principles of strategic planning and facilitate effective strategic plans.
