Our goal is to enhance the leadership capacity of existing and emerging leaders who can strengthen and transform their communities and the state.
We accomplish our goal as follows:
- Provide leadership program planning in the design and development of leadership programs on a prioritized basis: (1) community leadership, (2) regional leadership, (3) youth leadership programs, (4) organizational (public-sector-higher education), (5) grant-related leadership activities, (6) community groups, (7) interdisciplinary partnerships.
- Facilitate and provide technical assistance in initiating and implementing leadership education across community levels.
- Work with communities on effective leadership skills and practices such as: Visioning, Strategic Planning, Understanding Community Systems, Communication Styles, Team Management Strategies, Change and Change Management, Group/Team Dynamics, Diversity.
