4-H  Electrical Demonstration


OBJECTIVES

  • To develop leadership among youth participants.
  • For youth to learn to conserve and manage the use of electrical energy more effectively.
  • To teach youth to use electricity and electrical appliances safely.
  • To teach youth how to select, use, and care for electrical powered devices and equipment.
  • To help youth learn communication skills.


WHO MAY PARTICIPATE

  • Any Tallapoosa County Junior or Senior 4-H’er.


RULES

The contest will consist of two parts:

    1. Written exam – This will consist of questions from the 4-H Electric Energy Members Manuals. This portion will take 20 minutes.
    2. Visual presentation or Demonstration – The ideal length of a presentation is from 5 to 10 minutes.
