4-H Bicycle Safety Rodeo

 

OBJECTIVES
  • The bicycle rodeo should always demonstrate driving skills to adequately and effectively use to bicycle.
  • The bicycle rodeo should be used to develop knowledge of bicycle safety, including proper driver attitude, behavior and responsibility.
  • The bicycle rodeo should always teach traffic laws, explaining how these laws furnish a guide for bicycle drivers to be responsible to themselves and to all others who occupy the road.
  • The bicycle rodeo should emphasize the importance of the correct fit of a bike driver to a mechanically sound bike.


WHO CAN PARTICIPATE

  • Any Tallapoosa County Junior or Senior 4-H’er.


WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

  • A bicycle in safe condition.


RULES

  • Unsafe conduct will disqualify the contestant.
