Tallapoosa 4-H Arbor Day Poster Contest

Students will create a poster that reflects their understanding of forests as ecosystems that support diverse plant and animal life and benefit the environment.

1. Paper must be no smaller than 8 ½ X 11" and no larger than 14 X 18".
2. Markers, Crayons, Colored Pencils, Watercolor, Ink, Acrylic, or Tempera paint.
3. A completed entry form for each piece of art.(included on this paper)

1. A student who is currently in the fifth grade must create all entries.
2. All entries must be signed in the lower right-hand corner of the front with the student’s first and last name.
3. Collages are not acceptable.
4. Computer generated artwork is not acceptable.
5. Entries must be done on paper that will allow for duplication, display and framing.
6. Official entry blank must be completed and affixed to the back of the artwork.
7. The entry must be the original work of the student whose name is on the entry form.
8. The poster must be complete.
9. The poster must be related to the contest theme in some way. The theme for 2002 is:
 
"Trees Are Terrific…From Acorn to Oak!"


The theme must be on the poster. All words must be spelled correctly.
 

10. Entries should not be matted, mounted, framed or folded.
