Photography Exhibit

WHO MAY PARTICIPATE

  • Any Tallapoosa county Junior or Senior 4-H’er.


GUIDELINES

  1. 4-H’ers may submit black-and-white or color photograph or photo story (5 to 7 photos that follow a theme) mounted on an appropriate size neutral tone (off white, tan, gray, black) poster board/matting.
  2. Prints should not exceed 16" X 22" and should be mounted on an appropriate size matting (5" X 7" print with 8" X 10" mat). Shrink-wrap and other protective coverings will be removed before judging and display. Photos with frame or glass will not be accepted.
  3. Exhibits may have a main title and photo story caption where appropriate. Letters should not detract from exhibit. Additional artwork is not acceptable.
  4. Exhibitor’s name, address, phone number, age, school ( if you go to district put county and omit school) and whether 4-H’er is a Junior or Senior should be clearly written on the back of the exhibit.
  5. No negatives should accompany the print.
  6. Pictures should be of activities typical of those in which 4-H members and their friends would participate. They may include good examples of other subjects such as animals, people, landscapes, sports, etc.
  7. An adhesive like Velcro should be attached to the print for display on a flannel type board.
