4-H Natural Resources Youth Camp

Pictured below are the Montgomery County 4-H’s who attended the  4-H Natural Resources Youth Camp held at Camp ASSCA. The camp is held each year and promotes learning, and the outdoors. Sessions were held on subjects such as GPS & Orienteering, Aquatic Ecology, Canoeing and Snakes. Also the AU Raptor Rehab Center came and gave a demonstration, bringing some of their rescued birds. All who attended learned something about these often misunderstood creatures. The Natural Recourses Youth Camp is sponsored by Mid-South RC&D, AL DCNR and the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.
