She was mployed by Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital of North Alabama until 2000. She is currently volunteering as Coordinator of the Five-Year-Plan for Horticultural Therapy at the Huntsville-Madison County Botanical Garden. She implements therapeutic horticulture projects at the Senior Center Adult Day Care and Presbyterian Apartments.
