There are 33 active Master Gardener Associations in Alabama, several of which are multi-county groups. The yellow-shaded counties have a separate MG Association. The counties shown in green have banded together to better serve their local multi-county community. Those in grey do not have a separate Master Gardener Program but many participate in groups formed in a neighboring county.
If you are interested in locating your local MG group to join or to get information on forming a new chapter in your county, use the map to get contact phone numbers and email addresses. Roll your mouse over a county to see the name of the MG Association, then click on a county to link either to the association's website or to that county's Alabama Cooperative Extension System office. If there is no Master Gardener Program in your area, your county Extension Agent can help you get one started.
