Dairy Poster

  • This year each 4-H'er may participate in no more than 2 competitions (Does not include Dairy Poster.) There will be no monetary awards for competitions this year.

Awards

Competitive Events awards will be given at County Competitive Events Day. All other awards will be given at the Jefferson County Awards Banquet on April 26, 2012.

Jefferson County 4-H Scholarship: $300.00 Awarded to one graduating senior. Application must be turned in by March 26, 2012.

Jefferson County 4-H'er of the Year Award: Awarded to a

4-H'er from each level.

Junior- $50.00

Senior I - $75.00

Senior II- $100.00

Application must be turned in by March 26, 2012

Jefferson County Community Service Awards: Awarded to one individual 4-H'er and one club.

Individual- $50.00

Club- $100.00

Application must be turned in by March 26, 2012

Record Books

We will no longer have a record books competition. Instead, we encourage all

4-H'ers to enter the Achievement Awards for both Junior and Senior Divisions. You will still need to keep accurate records in order to enter.

Low Participation

Jefferson County 4-H Program reserves the right to cancel any competition that does not have adequate participation. In this case the 4-H'er may be asked to participate in Regional or State Competition.

Levels

We will still have three levels: Junior, Senior I, and Senior II.
