Welcome to the Jackson County Extension Office homepage! Thanks for stopping by!
We exist for one reason -- to help people improve their quality of life. The Jackson County
Extension Office, as part of the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, is in the business
of education. We're an extended arm of Auburn University and Alabama A & M University. We
work in many areas, but almost all of our activities fall into four categories: Agriculture
and Natural Resources, 4-H Youth and Youth-at-Risk, Community Resource Development, and
Home Economics.
