4-H Youth and Development for Franklin, Lawrence and Morgan counties
September 27, 2010 -It is that time to kick-off the year with our 4-H Regional Council. School has started and you're back hanging with friends trying to decide what your plans are for the year. I have a great idea!... bring them with you to the 4-H Regional Council meeting where you can still be together and help plan a great year in the 4-H Northwest Region. Bring your creative ideas with you to plan what you want to accomplish this year. For those of you who want to run for State Council, you don't want to miss this meeting. This meeting is not mandatory, but it will be very beneficial if you can attend. If you have any questions, just e-mail me by clicking on my name above.

Kathy Borden- 4-H Agent Assistant 256-332-8880
Hello,
Welcome to the Franklin County 4-H Youth Development Program! Franklin County 4-H has started with a bang this year and we are expecting the 2010-2011 4-H club program to be the best.
During the month of October we will elect 4-H club officers for the 2010-2011 year. We will also offer alot of fun projects in the upcoming months that you are welcome to participate in such as Extreme Birdhouse, Blocks Rocks, Speak Up Alabama, The World I Imagine and many more. The Franklin County 4-H program is building better leaders for the future, therefore we are striving to "Make the Best Better" with hands on projects.
Not only is the 4-H school year exciting, but the summer as well. During the summer we offer many different workshops and camps such as a cake decorating class, cooking school shooting sports and 4-H summer camp which is a fun-filled three day trip held at the Alabama 4-H Center in Columbiana, Alabama.
Remember the Franklin County 4-H is the HEAD of your school, the Heart of your leaders, the Hands of all who participate and the Health for those who care. Come join Franklin County 4-H and be a part of the Very Best Youth Development Program in Franklin County! | |
