The Natural Resources Club met on December 11, 2007. After refreshments and a little outside activity we began our meeting. This month's program was about birds and how to provide them with shelter. We learned about the needs of different kinds of birds and the importance of providing "just right" birdhouses--the kinds they will actually use. Then we built some "just right" houses for bluebirds. After the houses were finished we put them up around the 4-H clubhouse and the school. We hope some feathered friends will move in this spring. Brandon won the door-prize: a bluebird house.
