4H Pellet Heads Shooting Sports Club
On March 21st, eleven Calhoun County Pellet Head 4-H Club members competed in the State 4-H Air Rifle competition in Anniston, held at the Civilian Markmanship Program Building in Golden Springs. Calhoun County placed 2nd in the Senior age group (14-19 yrs of age) and 1st in the Junior age group (9-13 yrs of age).
Two Calhoun County 4-H'ers placed well as individuals. Chandler Hardy won 2nd Place as an individual shooter in the Junior Division, and Adam Brown scored 3rd highest as an individual shooter in the Senior category.
