The 2008 Fall Fest was held on Saturday, October 18, 2008, at the Cane Creek Community Gardens at McClellan. Hundreds of area residents came out to enjoy a day celebrating agricultural and homemaking skills. The day also featured demos of new farming equipment and canning, along with a quilt show, arts & crafts contest, baked goods contest and a canning contest. A 1930s grist mill did its work, turning corn into corn meal. The Buckner Farmers & Crafts Market vendors were also set up to sell their wares.
The Festival celebrated it's 3rd year, and each year has
seen an increase in attendance.
Special thanks to the many dozens of volunteers who made the day possible.
