4-H is the nation's largest youth development organization. It is an educational program provided through the Alabama Cooperative Extension System.
4-H began more than 100 years ago. Its goal is to help youth develop citizenship, leadership and life skills. The 4-H slogan, "Learn by Doing" is what youths of all ages do through events, camps, clubs and activities. Calhoun County 4-H has over 1400 members participating in in-school, afterschool, community and special interest clubs. 4-H'ers have fun!
