The spirit of Christmas comes alive on the banks of the scenic Cahaba River with an illuminated parade on Friday night, December 4 that stretches from Brent to Centreville. A fun-filled day Saturday, December 5 on Centreville's Historic Courthouse Square (listed on the National Register of Historic Places) features the Chamber of Commerce 5K Fun Run, open houses of historic structures, local arts, crafts booths, and Old St. Nick. himself!

Bibb County Commission meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 9:00AM at the County Commission Chamber inside the Rock Building.
Centreville City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5:00PM.
Brent City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 5:00 PM at Brent City Hall.
West Blocton City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00PM.
Woodstock City Council meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 6:00PM.

Bibb County Chamber of Commerce holds regular monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00PM at the Chamber Building.
Bibb County Economic/Industrial Development Board meets the second Monday of each month at noon at the Twix ‘n’ Tween.
Friends of the Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge meets the first Monday of each month at 5:30PM at the West Blocton Municipal Building.
Centreville Historic Preservation Commission meets the first Thursday of each month at 5:00PM at the Centreville Presbyterian Church. The public is invited.
