New Leaf is a program designed to assist women in the fight against overweight and obesity. This program features structured nutritional and physical activities planned for Autauga County women. Participants will meet once a week for nine week. Most sessions will only last an hour. The program is FREE!

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System (ACES) is partnering with the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), Office of Women's Health to implement a New Leaf in Alabama communities statewide.  Alabama currently leads the nation the incidence of overweight and diabetes.  These conditions are a result of poor dietary and physical activity practices.  ACES is proud to provide a program that addresses behavior change and promotes a healthy lifestyle with practical strategies for making changes in dietary and physical activity behaviors.
