Climate and Weather: Information and Education

What is climate change?

When the deviation of weather conditions from the normal, persists more than a decade and that can be considered in long-term trends then the changes in weather conditions is called as climate change (source). These kinds of changes can be due to:

  1. Slow changes in the energy which we receive from sun due to the changes in earth's orbit surrounding the sun.

  2. Changes in ocean circulations, and also may be due to some.

  3. Man-made variations such as removal of tree, forests in the process of urban development or burning fossil fuels.
